Faithful - Daily Prayer Journal is designed with privacy in mind. You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or give us any personal information to use the app.

2.2 Data Storage

All your personal content - including your prayer journal entries, notes, favorite prayers, preferences, and app settings - is stored on your device. We cannot access, view, modify, or delete your personal content.

iCloud Sync: When iCloud sync is available for your account, your data automatically syncs to your personal iCloud account (managed by Apple under your Apple ID), allowing seamless access across all your devices. We do not have access to your iCloud data - it is stored entirely within Apple's infrastructure under your control.

2.3 Minimal Data Collection

We collect only anonymous, non-identifying data necessary to maintain and improve the app's performance.

3.1 No Personal Identifying Information

4.2.2 Error Reports: Anonymous crash logs and error reports via Sentry (sentry.io) to help us fix bugs and improve app stability.

4.3 Subscription Information

4.3.1 Payment Processing: If you choose to support us with a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store and RevenueCat (revenuecat.com). We only receive confirmation that a subscription was purchased, but no payment details, credit card numbers, or billing information.

8.2 Data Control You have complete control over your data (prayer journal entries, notes, favorites, preferences):

  • Local storage: Your content is always stored on your device

  • iCloud sync: When iCloud sync is available for your account, your data automatically syncs to your personal iCloud account across all your devices. You maintain full control through your Apple ID.

  • Export/Import: The app provides export and import functionality for backing up and transferring your data

  • Deleting the app: Removes local data from that device. If iCloud sync is active, your data remains in your iCloud account until you manually delete it via iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage

  • No recovery by us: We cannot recover your data under any circumstances as we do not have access to it

    8.3 Stop Data Collection You can stop all anonymous data collection by deleting the app from your device.

    8.4 California Residents (CCPA) California residents have the right to:

  • Know what anonymous data we collect

  • Request deletion of any data we have

10.1 Local Data Your personal content is retained on your device until you delete the app or remove specific content. When iCloud sync is active, your data is also automatically retained in your iCloud account until you manually remove it from iCloud storage via iOS Settings.

10.2 Anonymous Analytics Anonymous analytics data is retained only as long as necessary for app improvement purposes, typically no longer than 2 years.

10.3 Subscription Data Subscription confirmation data is retained as required for billing and legal purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

11.1 Age Restrictions Our Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
